Dear Global Citizens,

Today, as we observe World Day Against Child Labour, we stand united in our commitment to abolish this grave violation of human rights. It is a day to reflect, raise awareness, and renew our dedication to ensuring that every child enjoys the innocence of childhood and the opportunity for a bright future.

Child labour is not merely a statistic or an economic issue; it is a human tragedy. Around the world, millions of children are deprived of their right to education, play, and rest. Instead, they are forced into hazardous work environments that endanger their health, safety, and development.

As the President of the International Human Rights Organization, I want to emphasize that our mission is clear and unwavering: every child must be free from exploitation. We envision a world where children can attend school, dream freely, and grow up in a safe, nurturing environment.

To achieve this, we must take collective action. Governments must enforce strict laws against child labour and ensure access to quality education for all children. Corporations must commit to ethical practices and transparent supply chains. Communities must support families in need, providing them with sustainable alternatives to child labour.

Our organization continues to work tirelessly on the ground, partnering with local agencies, providing resources to vulnerable families, and advocating for policy changes at the highest levels. But we cannot do it alone. We need your support, your voice, and your commitment to create lasting change.

On this day, let us remember the faces and stories of the children trapped in labour. Let their plight inspire us to act with urgency and compassion. Together, we can break the cycle of poverty and exploitation, ensuring that no child is left behind.

Thank you for standing with us in this critical fight. Together, we can build a future where every child can thrive, free from the chains of child labour.

In solidarity,

Subroto Kumar Sarker
